If ever there was a family that experienced the great New World epic of migration, nation-building, and religious pioneering, it was the Jacob and Sarah Scott family. From a modest home in Northern Ireland, their little band eventually traveled over much of Canada and the United States, changing with the times and making great history along the way. One of the most enjoyable projects I have ever undertaken was to write a history of this family and the experiences they had while colonizing the American frontier.
